Should solar panels be cleaned?
Cleaning frequency depends on dust, birds, pollen, rain and panel tilt. Clean only when needed and when it can be done safely. Avoid abrasive tools, harsh chemicals, walking on panels and thermal shock from cold water on very hot glass.
Battery maintenance is mainly environmental and digital
LiFePO₄ batteries do not need water topping. Maintenance focuses on temperature, ventilation, firmware, communication, state-of-charge behaviour, alarms, terminal condition and safe clearances. Do not open sealed battery enclosures.
